A thought for Thursday

A Burning Question....

Wow!! It's been awhile, eh? Things have gone a little bonkers here lately, and well, I was just now able to crawl out from under the laundry pile. *sigh* It is trying to eat me alive, I tell you!

I also finally had my raised vegetable and flower beds built this weekend, hooray! I have been asking for two years now for them, and on Sunday I had 3 lil' yard gnomes show up and they got it all done, except for a small part of the veggie bed, that we need one more board to finish up. Pictures soon!

Anyhow, back to the title of this post... I have something that's been on my mind for a few weeks now, and I'd really like every one's opinion.

Should I be looking up orthodontists in my area?

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain...

So the mommy snuck outside and took pictures again! Monkey napped, effectively avoiding the goofball with a camera. Little Stinker!

I love sunny days, and this has been a pretty cold spring thus far. It was 36 this morning, and now at 5pm, it's 65. We are hoping the warm weather sticks around!

Great things come in *multiple* small packages!

I have the beginnings of senility, or something... I must.

Our Family has grown, by TWO!

This Dixie, she's 8 weeks old, and a total snuggle bug/attention hog. Very much the alpha dog. Yet she's very quiet, and really, really loves sitting and playing with the kids. She likes to pick out her favorite pieces of puppy food, and hide them in her bed for later.
She rules the roost, with few exceptions.

This is Wee Man. He's 7 weeks old, and his name fits him in more ways than one. He's of the toy size, and also the teddy roosevelt type which means he has the stubbiest little legs, and a fat little body. He also peed on me, DJ, and the car door, AND floor on the way home. At home, he is actually the more reliable of the two in the housebreaking department.

He is HILARIOUS to watch eat, he's so chubby that when he leans forward ever so slightly to eat out of his food dish, his back legs come up off the ground. He kind of teeters on his front legs. He is the sweetest little guy, and so calm with the kids.

Puppy breath, and giggling girls are both running rampant thru my house today.... I thought spring break was supposed to be, oh... I don't know.... a break?!?
silly, silly me.... :)

Of Family.....and Frankenstein

Hey Everyone! It's been forever since I've blogged, but I've decided to give it a go again, I miss being able to keep up with everyone! For those of you who may be new, let me introduce you to my little family....

First we have my youngest, "monkey" she's 110% her father, and her sitting still long enough for this photo alone is astounding. Busy, and trouble should be this girls first and middle name. If you think I am joking, I'd like to invite you over to remove the spoon from my toilet, and get the sharpie off of my chest freezer. Oh, and if you also happen to know how to replace all of her hair she whacked off, I will pay your way here!!!! hehe... oh....my sweet little monkey...

Next, my oldest. Patient, sweet, and everybody's favorite drama queen, I call her Tinkerbelle. Most of my experiance in photography comes from her. She, unlike her sister will hold still.

This....ugh.... this photo below is of the old cab of the hot mess of a truck I call frankenstein.
It started as one truck with a crushed down cab where a tree fell on it. It's hard to see, but just past DJ's head is where it's smooshed in. He got the truck super cheap, and is in the process of putting a new cab on it. This pic was taken right after the old cab came off. A second truck was bought for next to nothing, because the cab on that one is perfect, and the entire truck was cheaper than just a cab from a junkyard would have been. *sigh* So then there was 2 trucks. Now.... there is a THIRD truck that was given to him, that needs a motor, and guess what.. the motor from truck #2 fits it. So, when you hear me grumble about frankenstein, this is why.... so far, it has been two months of spending almost all of his free time on these trucks. All said and done He'll have one truck to keep, and one to sell. Together, they'll be worth over ten times what was put into them cash wise. So either this makes good buisiness sense OR I have sucker stamped on my forehead. I'm thinking the jury is still out....

So.... are you scared yet? are you running in fear and never looking back?

Will you take me with you?? hehe... just kidding... Life's a trip, and you gotta enjoy the ride.

More posts to come soon, I just wanted to say hi, and get things going :)
